she grows ...

She's 16.5 pounds now -- at 12 weeks old.

Yesterday, she figured out that the lamp doesn't go away when she looks away from it. She laid on my lap, and every time she looked away from the lamp she would smile and giggle, and then she'd look back to make sure it was still there. Still there? Yes! Look away, laugh. It was so adorable. :)

THEN last night I got pictures of her on her belly, holding herself up. If you didn't know she couldn't crawl yet, you'd swear she was moving. *sigh*

After we put her back on her back (she got frustrated), she laughed and danced with the mobile. And oh how she squeals!
